How To Create A One Page Business Website

step one

Step one of creating your own business website involves choosing a domain name.  A domain name is your address on the internet.  Try and pick a name that best suits your business.  You can enter it in the blue  box below to see if your domain is available.  Make a list of three great names and work your way through the list until you find one that is available.  The internet has been around for a few decades now, and there is a possibility that your name has already been registered.

Already Have A Domain And Just Want To Build This Website Hosted At BlueHost?

No problem!  If you already have an existing business website and feel it's time for a redesign with a fresh, clean, modern look that is mobile friendly and not going to break the bank, you can also take advantage of this free tutorial and keep your existing domain name.

You will just simply need to click the green "Check Availability" button in the blue box above while leaving the field blank.

You will be taken to the BlueHost website where you will enter your existing domain in the  "I have a domain name" box.

The one page business webpage has become the latest trend in small business web design.  It positions your business ahead of the competition with it's mobile friendly, sleek design.

Today's customers are not interested in reading blocks of paragraphs, but would rather scan a web page quickly to extract the details they need to know, and make a purchase decision.  It is up to you as a business owner to provide them that easy to navigate experience and give them the facts they need to know in a quick and bold manner.

In 2014 Google released that mobile search surpassed desktop search for the first time in the USA.  The one page business website allows you to effectively service the way your customer will find you as it renders perfectly on all mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.

The images I used for this website were professional quality.  I recommend you provide your own images that best represent your company.  Make sure to save the images in large scale.  Many of the images I used were over 3000 pixels wide.  If you have small images and try to stretch them, they will become distorted.

If you would rather download professional quality images, I used www.canstockphoto.com .  I paid $39 for a one week subscription that allows me to download up to 10 pictures a day.  I have no affiliation with them.  You could also try istockphoto.com as I hear good things about them as well.
